ShineWing has expanded its global presence through the addition of a new member firm, ShineWing Ayman Fathy Kamel, in Cairo, Egypt.

Ayman Fathy Kamel, headquartered in Talaat Harb Square, Central Cairo, with 61 years of history, offers audit and assurance, accounting, tax, business advisory and consulting services. The firm has substantial experience in serving global groups, listed companies, private enterprises and individuals as well as governments and organizations, including the EU and UN. Its client base spans a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, healthcare, hotels and resorts, agriculture, non-profit, retail, funds and professional services, etc.

ShineWing welcomes a new member firm from Pakistan

Hameed Chaudhri & Co., Chartered Accountants, a Pakistani accounting firm joined the ShineWing International network and the signing ceremony was held at Beijing on October 23 2015. This is another major development of the internationalization of ShineWing, following the merger with Moore Stephens Melbourne in early 2015.

Previously, Mr. Zhang Ke, Chairman of ShineWing International has engaged in several meetings with the Pakistani party about the cooperation. Mr. Osman Chaudhri and Mr. Muhammad Ali, the Managing Partner of Hameed Chaudhri & Co., Chartered Accountants also paid a visit to Beijing in July. They highly rated the business performance of ShineWing and expressed their intention of becoming one of the member firms of ShineWing.

ShineWing won the “Rising Star Network” Award 2015

ShineWing won the prestigious International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) Award for the first time, which was announced at the IAB: Forum & Awards 2015 held in London on 1 October 2015. ShineWing has finally won the “Rising Star Network” Award.

Earlier, ShineWing was also nominated as the finalist for the category “Sustainable Firm of the Year”, facing strong competition from fellow networks KPMG and Crowe Horwath International. Mr. Zhang Ke, Chairman of ShineWing International was also chosen as one of the finalists for the category “Lifetime Achievement Award”.

Moore Stephens Melbourne joined ShineWing

This February, the Melbourne member firm of Moore Stephens joined ShineWing and merged with ShineWing Melbourne. The firm formally began practising under the name ShineWing on 1 February 2015. The entity after the merger was named as ShineWing Australia. Launch events were successfully held at Melbourne and Sydney respectively.

On 5 February 2015, more than 260 guests from governments, commercial enterprises and other business parties in China and Australia were invited to the celebration cocktail at Melbourne Museum. Mr. Tim Pallas, Treasurer of Victoria and Counselor Liu Yu, the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in Melbourne attended the event to deliver congratulatory speeches. Mr. Zhang Ke, Chairman of ShineWing International and Mr. Marco Carlei, Managing Partner of ShineWing Australia both expressed their confidence in the development of ShineWing Australia.

On 9 February 2015, another launch event was held at Sydney Opera House. Counselor Peng Gang, the Consulate General of the PRC in Sydney was invited to the event and offered the warmest congratulations on the launch of ShineWing Australia. Many Chinese enterprises with branch offices in Australia also sent representatives to this celebration event, including Yanzhou Coal Mining, Sinopec, Datang Telecom, State Grid, China Coal Energy, China Telecom, China Unicom, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications (China), China Railway Rolling Stock, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries, etc.

Also, invited by the Department of State Development, Business and Innovation of the State of Victoria, ShineWing representatives attended a business meeting with the government officials including Mr. Peter Armstrong, Executive Director of Invest Victoria, Office of State Development. Mr. Peter Armstrong hoped that ShineWing with the enviable reputation and premium services could strategically help to attract new opportunities in investments and stimulate active bilateral information exchange.

ShineWing International ranked 19th among the global accounting networks

International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) released the results of World Survey 2015 in its January 2015 issue. ShineWing International ranked 19th among the global accounting networks, based on fee and staff data. 7% growth rate was reported. It was the second time that ShineWing International held its position as 19th in this survey since 2014.

IAB is the global magazine covering the professional accountancy world. IAB tracks fee income and staff information from accounting networks and associations globally and organizes the annual rankings. The World Survey is widely recognized worldwide by different media organizations and institutions.

Mr. Zhang Ke, Chairman of ShineWing International said, 「The result implied that Chinese accounting firms have brought growing influence and gained increasing recognition in the global market. ShineWing will continue to strive for professionalism and expand our services to the world.」
